Candle Care & Safety 101

There is more to a candle than simply lighting it up. Shown above, are care & safety measurements that you must take into consideration whenever a candle is lit.

Always allow candles to burn enough until the whole surface has melted, otherwise you will end up with tunneling every time, as candles have some type of memory. Tunneling is when a candle burns down the center, leaving a ring of wax around the rim.

You should be cautious while they are burning as well. Remember not to leave the candles unattended, or burning for more than 4 hours. Put them on a heat resistant, non-flammable base, and trim the wick before each use. Our wicks are trimmed before shipping.

Lastly, extinguish the flame using a Candle Snuffer which is available in two colors; rose gold and matte black. A Candle Snuffer is bell-shaped cone with a handle, used to extinguish the flame without the risk of blowing hot wax all over the place.
